My kind of mix and match...
Superb Suite of Russian Imperial Jewels, Colored Diamond Parure, Mid 19th c. ~ Jewels contained in this necklace may have formed part of the ransom offered by Empress Catherine I, wife of Peter the Great of Russia to the Twenty-Third Ottoman Sultan Ahmed III (1673-1736) ~ Catherine's jewels then passed into the Ottoman Treasures and were, by tradition, used by the Sultan Abdül Hamid II (1842-1918) for the present necklace which he presented to the wife of the Khedive of Egypt.
