Ernst Paltscho
Ernst Paltscho was an Austrian company founded in Vienna in 1859 by Ernst Paltscho. His son Erwin continued the business from 1918 onwards. Paltscho made mainly high quality costume jewellery using semi-precious stones and was famous for his floral brooches made with carved rock-crystal, rose quartz, amethyst and agate. In 1964 Paltscho was the sole Austrian jeweller exhibiting at the 1964 International Exhibition in New York.
